Reading the record

What each section of the output is for.

The DPIA starter has four parts, each answering a different question about the processing you described.

The readiness call

Whether the described processing is likely to require a DPIA, stated plainly with the themes cited — Art. 26(9) on the AI side, GDPR 35 on the privacy side.

The themes

Starter themes for the assessment: what the processing does, what data it needs, and what the risk picture looks like before you write it up.

The special-category flags

Where the facts point at special categories or automated decisions — the flags that raise the bar on the assessment itself.

The record

The exportable starter: processing facts, themes, flags, and date. It is the first page of the assessment file, before the DPO's work begins.

Decision-support drafting only — not legal advice. Confirm the duty set against the current consolidated text of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689.
